Daisy jones and the six

I can’t begin to tell you how many people recommended Daisy Jones and the Six to me, most notably my sister in law, (yes, i’m divorced from her brother but she is one of the most important people in my life so I still refer to her as such) Rebecca. Beck is a big fan of Taylor Jenkins Reid and told me this one is a must read. So, I did. I finished this book in two days, it is awesome. She goes back and forth between characters quickly, which I actually really love when an author does. It’s a story about a rock band, set mostly in the 70’s. It’s about love and loss and sex and drugs and all the mess we find ourselves in along the way. The book was also turned into a streaming show on Amazon, and of course I had to watch it. I don’t watch tv, but I had to see it. The show is very different than the book, but it’s awesome too. I plan on reading more of her books in the near future, she definitely lives up to the hype.
