Really good, actually

Really good, actually by: Monica Heisey. I was recommended this book by my friend, Grace Shim. Grace is a published author and a trusted source for all things reading and writing. Here is a link to her website: Grace K. Shim. Monica’s writing is very witty, funny at times and honest. There isn’t really a plot, it’s more a stream of consciousness about her divorce and the aftermath of said divorce. I think it was ballsy of her to share so many personal details like she did. Most people can agree that breakups in general are not easy, she told hers in what seems like a no filter kind of way. I could relate to some of the things she shared, as someone who also went through a divorce. I wouldn’t say this is a book you must read, but it’s a book that could definitely help you feel less alone in the misery of a breakup.
